Day 11  Travel day

Long travel day today. We changed plans and drove a more direct route to So. Dakota. It will take 2 overnights to get there. First night in Rock Island, IL. We won't be going through Missouri and Nebraska after all. Jackie had a new experience today. Lunch at a White Castle. We ate 10 sliders (I had 7, Jackie couldn't take more than 3). She was not impressed at all.  I loved it. It brought back memories of 2:00AM stops for sliders and a coke when I was a teen and when I worked in Detroit. The dogs are traveling well. Cooper is hanging in there and Lucy is as energetic as ever. Tomorrow we drive to Mitchell, So. Dakota. Another long drive day
